Owning Alone...

So I can't really figure out why I own all over the place when I play alone, but when I am in a group, I slack off a little.

Its established that I pay more attention to my surrounding than Joe does. However, he can out DPS me any day. Keep in mind this is all on the same toon, Alaenia. For example... all the fights leading up to Lord Marrowgar in The Spire. As far as going around and finding webbed and bone spiked guys, I can find them super quick with no macro. The DPS though, because I'm more focused on making sure the webbed are broken free or the spiked people are down in time before the fire hits them. I'm also the one that knows where the fire is going when he whirlwinds. Its a fun fight for me as hunter. I really enjoy it. I've watched the Devourer of Souls... yeah... its annoying and to me... doesn't look fun considering Joe is always dead.
Anyway... I ran Dirty out to Northrend many times before as a lvl 64-66. Each time, I'd over aggro crap here and there, but make it out alive without using lay on/of hands or divine shield. Top that... I'm under-geared. Joe always sits behind me and is like "You're gonna die, Fish." And I'm all like "..........what? Sorry, wasn't listening." And he is all like, "Never mind, looks like you got it under control." Um... of course I have it under control. I'm a pally. Pally is over-easy and by far the first close range class I have enjoyed other than druid. Always used to killing at a distance. Oh well. But yeah, I really need to learn how to get more involved with groups... seriously...

World of Simcraft

Made it to 66 with Dirty. I feel like I cheated myself on the game play last weekend. I really did. I wanted to play for hours, but I cleaned the house instead. I also did a little food shopping and made a nice lunch for myself. I just couldn’t sit still for the game long enough. Not to mention I was also playing Sims 3 for a little while in the morning after Joejoe left for work.
Speaking of Sims… I tried to look for skins for BE or NE or something… maybe even the hairs would have settled nicely… but I can’t even get basic CC to work on my computer… It sucks… Hell… I can’t even login to the store or the exchange… Would be nice if I could… It used to work… but because my laptop doesn’t have that much memory or anything to support Sims 3 and WoW… I uninstalled it and let it be for a few months. With Joe’s new computer, that game plays well… but the CC doesn’t. *SIGH*
I will figure something out. I even used the Monkey thing to help with this… but nothing worked. :<>< And now I am at work… so I can’t try… Will when I get home I guess. Would like some posters and stuff of Lady Sylvannas. Or something to show the content on the computer screen or some kind of sim LARPing. Now that would be some funny shit.
I saw some real LARPers the other day… was a little weird… and uncomfortable cause I understood what the fuck they were talking about. I wouldn’t ever do that… but I have RP’d via IM for writing insirations. Also took an RP and used it as a full script. The story turned are awesome.
Back to sims… A poster with different character types… some little statues to represent the figures you can buy/custom build. What else… some armor for clothes… or even some stuff to look like JYNX shirts… like “Green Linen Shirt”… or a murloc head. A moonwell fountian or some plants/greenery to look like some of the plants. *sigh* Have to wait until I get home to look… I remember only finding NE hair and face paints though…. hm…

Just wow...

LFG...

Harbinger is kinda dead right now. Xdrakon said he'll renew the guild once the new xpac comes out. (Look forward to that one!) That would be nice to see.
Before I was in Harbinger, I came from a west coast PVP sever, Rivendare. I think it was MST or PST... don't remember. Was my ex's brother's server. Anyway, I lvled Alaenia with them at the same pace, so we did a lot of instances and junk. It was a family run guild and it was a really great guild for the most part. I don't know why it broke up though. We were doing 10 mans and pushing for 25s, the items were distributed evenly, and every one got along. Greed kinda broke it up. When the 25s weren't pulling through, they joined up with another guild. I was against it, but no one listened. And then they left that guild... for the exact reasons I told them too.
*victory dance*
Then I jumped into another guild that was in the midst of drama... My relationship with them started in Booty Bay. They were mostly 70s or close to it and they were running around and killing the lowbies and anyone else that would mess with them. I started to heal them with my tiny heals and they thought it was cute because I was somehow keeping the warlock alive. It was all in good fun. They invited me to their guild and everything was great. But then I left the game for a couple months. Jumped back onto Final Fantasy XI and then blah. Watched Manifestos (Asura) fall apart and then hit up WoW once one of my old friends finally joined WoW. Seeing how I had nothing left on my old guild... I moved serves and went to an EST guild, Lothar, to play with him. Well, the fucker quit the game and then I ended up moving out here to Cali. It was only me playing for a while, but then Joe Joe got interested here and there. He was still hardcore FFXI, but I played WoW. Then it was vice-versa. Excitement.
I joined up with Unwanted Lawn Gnomes and it was a blast. Playing the game was fun for me again. Then they kinda died when a few people left the guild cause they were raid whores. More people followed him, and then seeing how all the raid happy people were gone, others left. I stood with the guild even though I was the last person in it. Then I joined Harbinger on Dirty. Everything was great with them once I took my toons from ULG and brought them over to Harbs. Started rainding a lot on Moo. The best raid was with a few of X's close buddies on WoW that were in other guilds. There was only one healer for a 10 man Naxx. I don't know all the details cause I only ran it once so far, but there is a part where you have to kill two things that are suppose to die around the same time. We killed one faster than the other, then we went to jump over and immediately jumped into battle. Everything was explained up to this fight. Then someone on vent was like "Oh shit! We forgot the charges!" Then you hear someone else explaining really fast. It was a mess, but it was so much fun. Everybody was just laughing their asses off. There were only 4 that knew the fights really well, everyone else was familiar or just never did it. Needless to say, with one healing and half assed instructions until the last minute, we had a lot of great runs. But then people left to do more raids else where and other really good players were mostly on DoTA.
So now... there are only two people really ever on. Myself and Uok. Xdrakon left the guild to gear his shammy, but he still had his DK and other toons in the guild. Still though... I miss the short time everyone was together. They were great! X said I could leave the guild if I wanted, but I am tired of guild hopping to be completely honest. If the chance does come for me to be more involved with raids and such, I'll leave to gear Moo or Dirty... Not by choice, but by necessity. Hopefully the next guild, if there is one before Harbinger comes back to life, will have people I can get along with.

*sigh*

Nice and smooth.

The computer is amazing! I installed and played with Sims 3 for an hour, then ran around the house to clean a little before Joe Joe got home. Played a little more Sims and then jumped onto WoW. Just total awe. It was a little difficult to get used to the full sized keyboard because we have been playing on my laptop for over a year now. With this new beaut, things will be great. :) Looking forward to spending my weekend glued to the game. Hopefully get Nolee to 45 or close and Dirtyrican to 68 or close. Not hefty goals. Can spend a day for each. Only problem with me is that I can't sit in front of the computer for a long time. I end up getting bored with immediate sleepiness to follow. Exciting.
Anyway, Joe Joe got home a little later than I thought. Smoking is still far more important than WoW and the new computer. Once he got in, I could tell he was eager to get me off cause he did everything I asked him to prepare my transfer to the laptop. *cracks whip* After he did that, we talked about the machine, then I went crazy looking for a normal drink vendor in Dalaran. I only looked in the path from the inn to the Horde quarters. Found only alcohol vendors. The thought slipped in my head to get smashed and see how that looked. Bad idea. Finally made it to the Shattrath portals though. Not sure if it was changed or I just never paid much mind to what I was doing when I get smashed... but I was all over the place. Trying to run to the portals was made of fail... trying to fly was made of fail... It sucked. I never noticed the sudden change of direction when flying. I only recall swaying. This was full blast screwed up... I was flying towards the sky, then to the left, but up... to the right, then down... then straight down... There were trees, then random pillars, suddenly the Aldor all the while I'm a Scryer on Dirty. That wasn't pretty. Not even sure how I got away, but they didn't get the chance to net and warp me yet.
When I finally jumped to the other computer, I told Joe Joe that I needed help. He was happy to help. I wanted some help with some quests, but instead I got a run through Underbog and Slave Pens. Not that I am complaining, but most of the gear that dropped for me was holy spec. type gear. So I guess I will rob 1k gold from Sarahi and dual spec as a holy pally. Ret spec is kinda fun and a little over doing the easy mode thing. Love it though. Definitely made for someone that doesn't play extremely well, like me. Ha ha. Holy spec might help teach me ways to heal so I can get used to it on Moogarita... even though she is a druid. I really missed out on growing with Moo thanks to Joe Joe leveling her even though I asked him not to. :| So long as I can keep either Nolee or Dirty to myself.

In the mean time, when I am bored of them, I made a gnome rogue to mess around with. Her name is Ghettomusic. Will be interesting...

New computer!

Wooohooo!
Joe-joe and I just built a new computer. I have to say... the graphics and stuff... AMAZING.
Everything on WoW is crystal clear and beautiful! You can see all the glows and details of enchants and armor... Can see Dalaran from freak'n Icecrown!

I can't wait to actually get on and be able to play for myself rather watch him... Can't wait to see how hot Nolee will look casting.

Icey cold!

I managed to get Nolee up to level 39. Just a few bars short of 40...
I never thought I would really care for mage class, however, I enjoy it. I'm sure it will be fun at the higher lvls, but right now... its a struggle. I don't know if I picked the right spec to lvl with, but its slow and steady for the most part. Ice mage is quite fun due to all the points spent on critical strike rating on frozen targets... and the majority of my targets get frozen on 80% of my frost bolts.
I should prolly dual spec her... but I don't know whether arcane or fire would be the way to go. I know I would like to PVP on her a little. :)
I like PVP... thought I'm not great on it unless I'm a pally... ha ha. Dirtyrican is 63 now.
Moo is getting geared, but now its at a stand still because the guild it working to get their gear through other guilds. Tyler is going to see about rebuilding after the expansion comes out.
By the way... I CAN'T WAIT FOR CATACLYSM!!!! :D Going to interesting trying to learn the new layout since I'm used to all that is pre-BC. 5 years strong of on and off play, gotta love it.

Peace, friend.
